IN A FLAP . . . pranksters have continued to take advantage of the headless fisherman statue at the east end of Annan. Last week the sculpture's creator Paul Cowan explained that the statue's original head had been stolen during renovation work. Since then the figure has sported a number of humorous heads, including ghoulish masks and even a football. And on Wednesday motorists and pedestrians were greeted by a perfectly proportioned parrot, with many left wondering who is responsible for the novelty noggins
