RIVERSIDE ART . . . Nathan (Nate) Robinson, a Thornhill-based sculptor and blacksmith, showed off plans for his proposed 7.3 metre high public artwork earmarked for a prominent site next to the Battery Brae in Annan. The metal sculpture would feature the stormy river together with a mythical horse figure known as a kelpie and could include some of the recovered parts of the two lost bridges. Nathan was on hand at the Market Hall along with History Town joint-development officer Gail McPhillips to explain the concept and plans.
