Richie Nicoll has decided to raise much needed funds for the Cash for Kids Mission Xmas appeal to help Santa put presents under the tree of those less fortunate this Christmas.
The 46-year-old is climbing the regions highest hill every day for 12 consecutive days whilst carrying a backpack and a SUV tyre which is about 50lbs of weight.
Richie started his climbing mission on Monday and has been joined by pals for his walks.
He said: Weve had a variable amount of weather! We had 70/80 mph winds on day one, foggy day two and snow on day three.
Weve been roughly just over an hour to get up and half an hour to get down so not too bad. The legs are actually not too shabby, Im running down as such so seems to take the pressure off the knees!
