Chance to be in a gallery art show

YOUNG people aged 3-18 from Dumfries and Galloway are being given the exciting opportunity to have their artwork featured in an exhibition at the National Gallery in Edinburgh.

National Galleries of Scotland is encouraging youngsters to let their imaginations run wild and create their own artworks, from drawings, paintings, 3-D sculptures or video – there are no limitations on what they can make!

All submissions will feature as part of the spectacular Your Art World exhibition, opening on 10 May 2025, showcasing the creativity of young artists from across Scotland.

All you need to do is photograph the work and upload it to the National Galleries of Scotland’s online gallery, then go along to the venue to see it featured digitally on screens there.

All the new entries sent in will be added to the screens every month until the exhibition ends on 2 November next year.

Entries submitted before the 5 January will also be in the running for the prize draw, which includes art supplies for individual winners, or art supplies for their school.

Submissions can be made at www.nationalgalleries.org/learn/your-art-world and should be sent in by 5 January to be in with a chance of winning the prize draw or by October 2 2025 for inclusion in the exhibition.
