THE death of a 22-year-old man in Annan last weekend is being treated as unexplained by police.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 5.10 am on Saturday officers were called to a property in the Standalane area of Annan.
“Emergency services attended and the body of a 22-year-old man was found within.
“A 28-year-old woman was taken Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment and later released.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
