BLACK and white dogs are being invited to enter a competition and be in with the chance of being crowned the face of Peamutt Butter.
The dog treat company is looking for a loveable, cheeky and mischievous dog, to be the face of their summer marketing campaign.
And they want to hear about any possible dogs in Dumfries and Galloway that love peanut treats, have a fun personality, interesting back story or special skills.
The winner will be chosen in March and become the real life Peamutt. They will get a photo shoot and their face will then appear on jars of Peamutt Butter later this year and get the chance to donate £250 to a local dog charity.
There will also be prizes and goodies for the finalists.
Competition organiser Richard Duerr said: “We encourage dog owners across the UK to enter, we can’t wait to see the talent and hear the incredible stories behind your pets.”
The closing date to enter your pet is January 12 and entries should be made via the Peamutt website or Instagram page, with a photo required.
A dog will be chosen to represent Scotland and go up against dogs from England, Wales and Northern Ireland, to find the overall winner.
