A GROWTH programme for women business owners in Dumfries and Galloway kicks off this week.
Delivered by Women’s Enterprise Scotland in collaboration with South of Scotland Enterprise, the free programme is being funded by the Scottish Government Pathways Fund.
It will comprise six weekly sessions, along with practical individual coaching sessions and networking events.
Topics covered will include managing finances, storytelling for your brand, taking on the first employee, and customer care.
The sessions are being delivered by the founder of Love Scottish and Women’s Enterprise Scotland certified business advisor Lesley Landels.
She said: “The Business Growth Programme is here to support women entrepreneurs in the South of Scotland on their journey to grow and develop their businesses.
“I am excited for unlocking the vast potential that I know is in our region. With expert guidance, practical advice, and the chance to connect with like-minded women, this course is designed to inspire confidence and help participants take the next steps toward their business goals in 2025.”
Participants will gain support and advice on how to identify opportunities for business growth, learning essential skills and hearing from industry experts as well as other successful female entrepreneurs who will share their own experiences.
The course is part of a wider goal to close the gender gap in enterprise and is designed to encourage women-led businesses across the South of Scotland to grow and develop their businesses.
