QUEEN of the South manager, Peter Murphy, has been named the Scottish League One Glen’s Manager of the Month after an undefeated run in January.
The Palmerston Park side picked up 10 out of a possible 12 points during the first month of 2025, claiming victories against Cove Rangers, Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Dumbarton, and a 1-1 draw away against Alloa Athletic.
This unbeaten run of fixtures has lifted the club to fourth place in the league table.
Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, said: “Peter has done a fantastic job with the Doonhamers this season, guiding them through an unbeaten January – a run which has put them right in the mix in the top half of the league table.”
Doonhamers boss Murphy, added: “I am honoured to accept this award on behalf of the club, staff and players who have shown what we can do as a team. However, the challenge is to try and achieve this honour again by having everyone working in the same direction for the second half of the season.”
