GROUND investigation works will start next week for phase two of the Lockerbie Railway Station car park.
It is in order to develop the final proposals for reconfiguring the existing car park to make it more user friendly with better entry and exit points, improved street lighting and addressing pavement parking.
However, it means there will be fewer parking spaces in the current station car park during the week.
Station users are advised to allow extra time for their journey as a result.
