A FESTIVAL focusing on food and farming is now underway in Moffat.
The aim is to celebrate sustainable agriculture and hold ‘Good Food’ conversations, while exploring themes around food, sustainability, and farming practices, offering people an opportunity to engage with these topics through film and conversation.
There will be a series of films, workshops, and activities at Studio Moffat in Dundanion Road, running until March 2.
Today’s screening (Fri) is 10 Billion: What’s on Your Plate?, a thought-provoking film that looks at the future of global food production as the world’s population continues to grow.
Next week, on Wednesday, will be Sacred Cow, a documentary that addresses the complex relationship between food, farming, and animal rights.
On February 28, the film Six Inches of Soil will explore the critical role of soil health in sustainable farming and food production.
To wrap up the festival, on March 2 there will be a Good Food Conversation for Moffat, a community workshop where participants will discuss local food systems, sustainable agriculture, and how the community can make an impact, followed by a screening of A Farm for the Future.
