UPPER Annandale secured a point at home to a top of the table Stranraer Reserves side in the South of Scotland League on Saturday.
The sides drew 3-3 at New King Edward Park.
Kriss Amponsah equalised with a fine solo effort after Matthew Robertson had given the Reserves the lead from a free kick.
The Reserves took the lead again after an excellent strike by Moray Ferguson flew into the top right corner. But Uppers quickly got back on level terms through Tyler Bowman.
In the second half Stranraer took the lead for a third time through Rory McIntyre.
But after a bad challenge inside the box left the referee with no option except to award Uppers a spot kick, Andrew Caffrey stepped up to fire home from 12 yards and tie the game at 3-3.
Elsewhere, Mid Annandale were beaten 3-1 by Lochar Thistle at Wilson Park. And Lochmaben suffered a 3-0 defeat away to Creetown.
