At about 1 pm last Thursday a 38-year-old man was threatened by a male youth Glenluce Skate Park on Main Street. The youngster then stole a three-figure sum of cash from him before leaving the area.

Officers are appealing for information and say the suspect is in his teens, with dark brown hair and stubble, wearing grey jogging bottoms and a jumper.

Constable Ross Bell, of Stranraer Police Office, said: “Extensive enquiries have been carried out since this was reported, however, we are now seeking the public’s assistance as we continue to work to identify the person responsible.

“We would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information that could assist our investigation to contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2118 of 11 March. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
