Festival will be out of this world

THE countdown to 2025’s Eden Festival has begun as more acts and this year’s theme are revealed.

English punk duo Bob Vylan are set to headline this year’s festival. Their style merges elements of grime, punk rock and hip hop and they will be bringing their signature sound to the Great Mountain stage in June.

Also making appearances at this years festival are Scottish bands Mellow Party, a lowlander alternative folk band. They have influences as varied as Flatt and Scruggs, The Mighty Boosh, Robert Burns, The Proclaimers, Simon and Garfunkel and the Humble Bums.

Trad band Talisk will be brining their traditional sound to this year’s festival; never afraid to push the musical boundaries or test the live production capabilities of three people, there’s captivating a crowd then there’s Talisk.

With over 250 act set to perform across ten stages covering all musical bases from world to funk, classical to jungle, acoustic to dancehall, the 2025 line-up is shaping up to be blast.

This year the festival takes on a space theme with festivalgoers being encouraged to look to the cosmos for inspiration, whether it be cosmic stardust, astronauts, neon comets, children of the moon, the universal disco, space is the place to find inspiration.

Hannah Gould, Eden Festival director, said: “Year on year we’re excited for Eden goers and also everyone involved as it is truly a labour of love. From our dedicated team of gardeners to the people running the workshops and visual artists creating magic before as well as during the festival, plus the in-house bookers, the people behind the stages and a formidable crew of volunteers. Eden is a true family-friendly festival for everyone. Independently minded and independent in spirit. We can’t wait for Eden-ites old and new to arrive.”
