Success at Young Enterprise

TWO teams from Stranraer Academy competed at the regional finals of Young Enterprise last week, taking home multiple prizes.

The annual award ceremony at the Cairndale Hotel was attended by around 100 people from invited guests, link teachers, company advisors, supporters and family and friends of the companies that participated.

Although the teams didn’t take home the top prize, both the Bubble-Bees team and the Happy Bundles group were recognised for the efforts of the key people who made each company operate.

Bubble Bees, which sold a variety of bee themed product,s were given the best report award – above.

And Happy Bundles, who marketed packaged bundles containing a variety of themed toys, stationery and accessories, were awarded best trade stand. Additionally, ​​Sara Smith was recognised as link teacher of the year having supported both groups.
