DUMFRIES police are currently investigating a robbery which took place yesterday on a footbridge above the River Nith between Sandside and Greenlands.
The incident took place at 5.45 pm yesterday and the male victim was uninjured.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
They are especially keen to speak to a blonde haired woman seen pushing a pram at the time the incident occurred.
