The four-year-old back-marker from Kelvin Brown of Wishaw came through the field to win by a comfortable 4.5 lengths.
He finished ahead of Cumbrian owner – trainer Maurice Lawman’s two-year-old 5/2 shot Unlock.
There was another convincing victory in the following 280 metres race.
Wiggy’s Sky, a three-year-old bitch from the Solway coast Wiggins kennels, romped home 3.25 lengths in front of Oh Golly, a two-year-old dog from Alex McMillan from Port Glasgow.
