THE Solway Sharks returned to home ice on Saturday evening to face the Hull Seahawks in their Valentine’s fixture after five consecutive road games.
Despite a back-and-forth battle, the Seahawks clenched the two points in the final minute of the game to sneak away with a 5-6 victory.
And on Sunday, in Slough, the Sharks lost their seventh game in a row, their fourth on the spin with a 6-5 scoreline, to the Berkshire Bees.
The Dumfries side do not have much time to dwell on things as they return to home ice this Saturday to take on the Telford Tigers.
Doors open at 5.30 pm for a 7 pm face-off.
Tickets are available now at sharksihc.com/tickets/ or in person at Dumfries Ice Bowl.
