A701 crash woman named

A WOMAN who died on Thursday night after her car was in collision with a HGV has been named.

Patricia McAuslan, 32, from Glasgow received fatal injuries in an accident with a Scania lorry at around 7.40 pm near Parkgate, Dumfries.

Patricia, who was driving a Ford Focus, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 43-year-old lorry driver was uninjured.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal at Dumfries.
