A75 delays after lorry crash

A LORRY crash caused severe delays on the A75 near to Mouswald on Thursday afternoon.

The vehicle left the road near to Mouswald Banks at about 2.15 pm, but a police spokesman confirmed nobody was injured in the incident.

He added that the lorry is understood to have clipped the grass verge before tipping into a field.

Traffic lights were quickly erected at the scene in a bid to manage traffic flow and the trunk road was due to be closed for several hours last night while the vehicle was recovered.
