A75 maintenance planned
AN £875,000 maintenance scheme will kick off on the A75 tonight.
Amey will carry out the essential maintenance on behalf of Transport Scotland from today until Sunday March 6, on the westbound approach to Drummore Roundabout.
The scheme is set to benefit around 4300 vehicles which use this route every day, by improving journey time reliability, ride quality and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future. Work will be carried out using a contraflow system to maintain traffic flow through the works location continuously between 6 am Saturday February 19 until 7 pm Friday March 4.
Overnight road closures with a diversion route will be in place from 7 pm to 6 am on the nights of Friday February 18, Friday March 4 and Saturday March 5.
Diversion routes will be in place throughout the works.
