SANTA will be swapping his sleigh for the bus when he comes to Dumfries later this week.
He will be hopping aboard a Stagecoach electric bus to visit the Whitesands on Thursday from 4 pm.
And local children are being invited to visit him , and his elves, in his travelling grotto for free and to receive a special gift.
Mr Claus will also be wearing his traditional green suit, keeping his red one clean for doing his rounds.
