Annan Harbour festival to go ahead

THE ANNAN Harbour Festival will go ahead this weekend.

The Annan Harbour Action Group, which organises the local festival confirmed via social media that despite current circumstances, the festival will go ahead as planned on Saturday.

In a statement posted on social media the Annan Harbour Action Group said: “The Annan Harbour Action Group is deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and expresses condolences to the members of the Royal Family.

“As a community focussed charity we have taken the decision to continue as planned with the Annan Harbour Festival on Saturday September 10, between 10am and 4pm, and will leave the decision whether to come along, or not, to you as individuals and families.”
