The site cost £279,000 in energy last year, but that is predicted to fall slightly to £271,000 for 2022-23.
It compares to £997,000 for energy at DG1 at Dumfries, which is forecast to rise to £1.3 million next year.
A paper on energy costs across council buildings is being presented to councillors next week but a spokesman yesterday said: “Our swimming pools and leisure centres provide a range of opportunities which are vital to the health and wellbeing of our local communities. “We are working hard to build our customer numbers back to pre-covid levels and are working more closely than ever with our NHS colleagues to provide a physical activity pathway to support those recovering from injury or illness or those living with a long-term condition.”
