AROM principals back in the saddle

Annan's Riding of the Marches principals will lead a different kind of cavalcade this weekend as they trade bridles for bicycles.

Cornet Kieran Hawrylkiw, Cornet’s Lass Alana Carruthers and Standard Bearer Connan Johnstone will be joined by more than 20 other cyclists for a sponsored bike ride round the boundaries on Sunday afternoon.

The 14-mile route will depart from the John Bell Playing Field in Annan at 12.30 pm and there will be a few stops along the way and a small buffet at the end.

Entry is £10 per adult and £5 per child, which is in aid of Annan Young Riders, and anyone wishing to take part should turn up on the day.
