Entries are welcomed from artists anywhere, of any age, in any medium – including but not limited to painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics and other applied arts and crafts and individuals can enter multiple times. There will be a cash prize of £250 for the winner of the competition and prizes or commendations will also be awarded to the best submissions within categories at the discretion of the judges.
The closing date is August 21 and winners will be announced at an event at the Queen Street gallery on August 23, after which all entries will go on show until September 7. To find out more, email theyellowdoordumfriesgmail.com
