VISITORS enjoyed a glimpse into the practical side and inspiration behind art at an event in Moffat last weekend.
The Moffat Collective Art Trail highlighted the work of a group of local creators, with studios open so the public could see first-hand watercolour, oil or acrylic paintings, pottery, fused glass, digital art and fibre art being produced within the community.
Pictured is artist Helen Gardner showing some of her work, including landscapes, to Dumfriesshire MP David Mundell.
He said: “The art trail has become a must-visit event in Upper Annandale and demonstrates the wealth of artistic talent we have in our midst.”
