Ashleigh is officially an inspiration

A HARDWORKING rugby club volunteer has been recognised for her efforts.

Ashleigh Douglas, of Moffat, won the Inspiration Award for 2021 at the Scottish Rugby Community Awards.

They were held online last week for the Glasgow South Region.

For over ten years she has dedicated her time to help out at Moffat Rams.

Thanking and praising her, club president David Little said: “Once again Ashleigh, congratulations and well done, you do a magnificent job.

“Congratulations also to the other club members who had also been nominated for other awards: Kirsty McGregor, Mark Smith, Cammy Little and Team Rams volunteers.

“Well done to you all. Without volunteers and your dedication the club would simply not be.”
