And her dedication to carefully applying the perfect eyeshadow, smudge-proof lippy and beautifully blended foundation has won her business, ‘Makeup at the Mansion’, a top industry award.
Last month, more than 500 wedding professionals from across the country gathered at a hotel in Glasgow for a glittering awards nights, recognising the best in the business.
The Scottish Wedding Awards 2022 provides a platform to acknowledge everyone that works tirelessly to make that special day perfect.
And Ashley was delighted to win the ‘Freelance Wedding Makeup/Hair Specialist of the Year (South)’ category.
She said: “I am so honoured to have received this award.
“I would like to thank all my brides for nominating me.
“I look forward to working with my brides this year and welcoming any new brides in the future.
“It’s been a tough couple of years for the wedding industry and my business, it is so nice to have something positive now we are all getting back to normality after the pandemic.”
As well as make up and hair professionals, the awards showcased florists, cake decorators, wedding bands, hair and make-up professionals, pipers and venues amongst others.
