GET outside this weekend at Moffat and District Community Nature Reserve on Sunday.
The first of two bird watching walks will be taking place from 2 pm onwards.
It will be led by ornithologist Dave Dick, who was chief investigations officer for the RSPB in Scotland for over 25 years. He can identify a bird by its song, by the way it moves, its wingspan, its shape. He can spot a nest on the highest branch and tell you what type of bird made it, if it’s in use, and how long it’s been there.
