POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault in Stranraer.
A 32-year-old man suffered serious injuries as a result of the attack in the area of Hannover Street and Dalrymple Street at about 11 pm last Thursday, June 19.
Officers are following positive lines of enquiry and are now urging anyone who may have seen what happened or has relevant footage or information to come forward.
