Dumfries and Galloway Autism Network is organising a half day conference and workshop with a view to shaping future services and provision locally.
And parents and carers will be able to go along and contribute their views.
It takes place on Thursday September 10 at Easterbrook Hall in Dumfries where the key speaker will be Dr Jean McLelland, chairwoman of the National Autism Project.
Councillor Jeff Leaver said: “This is a great opportunity for parents and carers to directly help shape the way forward for services for people affected by autism in our region and to get together with other people in similar circumstances to themselves.”
