Band appeal

BANDS are being sought to take part in the first ever Beattock Bash.

The organisers are looking for musical acts to perform at the all day event on August 6.

The aim is to bring the beat back to Beattock and things happening locally after the pandemic.

Event organiser Joe Morreti said: “We’re looking for another band for the evening slot and would really like a younger band who would like the experience of playing a festival style gig with professional PA.

“For the day time we’re now looking acts for the main outdoor stage from 12-5 and for the Old Stables Inn from 12-5. Any type of act, solo singer, performer, all style and genres.”

The Bash currently has over 15 stalls and two bands signed on for the event and is still accepting submissions and enquiries via their Facebook page.
