Banksy lecture

EXPLORE the artwork of mysterious artist Banksy with Arts Society Dumfries and Galloway (TASDAG).

The mysterious artist has eluded identification in this age of screens and screen-shots. Yet his work and his installations are well known and have, on many occasions, set the art world back on its heels.

So, while the lecture is sure to delight fans of Banksy’s unique art, it will also appeal to all who are fascinated by the mystery that surrounds the contemporary British artist behind so many iconic images.

Lecturer, Raymond Warburton, has had a lifelong love of art, and a career which includes academic achievement in art and art history, together with time spent as a guide at Tate Britain and Tate Modern. In his lecture, Raymond will trace the course of Banksy’s career and describe his major artworks in what promises to be an exciting and enthralling lecture.

Raymond will be speaking at the Easterbrook Hall on Tuesday April 8 from 11 am, for more information visit: www.tasdag.org.uk.
