Biker hurt in A711 crash

A MOTORBIKER was taken to hospital after a crash near Dumfries last night.

The 55-year-old from Elgin suffered internal injuries and a fractured arm in the accident near Netherfield Farm on the A711.
It happened at 5.50 pm and also involved a tractor and trailer.
However, the tractor driver, aged 29 and from Lochanhead, was not hurt.
Police Scotland are keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the road at this time to get in touch if they witnessed the crash or indeed either vehicle just prior to the crash.
Witnesses can call Police Scotland at Dumfries on 101.
