A BOOK is being released featuring the photos of Andrew C Taylor.
‘Landscapes of Life’ is described as containing “secret, surprising and unusual photographs of people, places and nature to discover”.
Many of the images were taken in Dumfries and Galloway, and include birds, fish, insects and mammals.
There’s everything from sunbathing pheasants to Texel sheep, as well as coastlines, countryside, fishing boats and coal mines.
Alongside the photos, which have been taken over five decades, Andrew, who writes our monthly Country Matters column, shares his insights into the stories behind each one and the equipment and settings used to capture the moment.
The book will be available in most local independent bookshops and is already on pre-order at Waterstones, priced £17.50.
