Boy, 14, charged in connection with shop blaze

A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a shop blaze at Townhead Street, Lockerbie.

On June 16 fire crews from Lockerbie and Moffat were called to tackle a fire at a derelict shop.

They used high pressure jets to fight the blaze and needed to be joined by further crews from Annan and Dumfries.

No one was injured in the incident, however police are still appealing for more information.
