YOUNG entrepreneurs this week battled it out to represent the region in a national final. And the honour went to High Tea, a student company from Castle Douglas High School who make vintage cake stands and bird feeders from upcycled old crockery.
They were named best business in The Young Enterprise Scotland Dumfries and Galloway finals in the Easterbrook Hall on Wednesday night. And the pupil will now go on to represent the region in the Scottish Young Enterprise Finals in Glasgow in June.
There were also prizes on the night for teams from St Joseph’s College and Maxwelltown High. Also taking part were companies from Annan Academy, Dumfries Academy, and Sanquhar Academy
