Busy time for Santa

IT’S the busiest month of the year for Santa Claus and his elves.

As well as his toy making duties, the man in red has been popping up at different events in the region to make sure the boys and girls of Dumfriesshire are behaving themselves.

Maybe you’ve visited one of his grottos, or seen him at a Christmas event? He’s even had the reindeers in tow at one or two places.

The elves have also been out and about reporting back to Santa.

He took five minutes out of his hectic schedule to speak to us here at DNG Media, saying: “Santa and his team of elves have been very busy, but all is going extremely well and we are working on our final plans.

“Boys and girls must continue to support and help mum and dad around the home at this busy time. Do good at school – you and the teaching staff will be looking forward to your holidays and a well earned rest.

“Children must go to bed at a reasonable time on Christmas Eve and only when they are snoring their heads off will Santa deliver their presents. Please leave me a drink of milk or a cheeky sherry, but not too much as I have so many houses to visit.

“Rudolph and his trusty team of reindeer like carrots or the odd Brussel sprout.

“I look forward to visiting your house on Xmas Eve. Ho, ho, ho.”
