CCTV robbery appeal

POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries into a robbery that took place in June.

Detective Sergeant Graeme Robertson, from Dumfries CID at Loreburn Street Police Station said: “Inquiries are continuing in respect of this matter and we are keen to speak to the man in the images.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to contact police immediately. Likewise, anyone with any further information relevant to this incident, should also get in touch.”

Those with information can contact Dumfries CID via 101 and quote incident number PDG0140380619. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be made to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The robbery took place on June 25 at around 4.40 am.
