A GATHERING to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the formation of the Lochvale Boys’ Home Trust will take place on Saturday afternoon.
Bryan Dickson – a resident between 1960-67 – has organised the event at the Georgetown Road home from 12.30 pm.
He has extended an open invitation to local representatives and any other interested persons.
On the day, Bryan will submit the Lochvale Boys Home Registers, records, photograph albums, and other items into the custody of Dumfries and Galloway Council archives department.
