‘PAWS FOR A CAUSE’ is taking place this weekend at the Caledonia Park Designer outlet in Gretna, inviting dog owners to take part in a range of activities with their pets.
In partnership with Oak Tree Animal Charity, activities will range from dog shows with daily competitions and prizes, ‘Master Dog’ a fun agility course, ‘Snuffle Painting’, creating unique canine artwork, will provide a fun day out for furry friends and the whole family which will also raise money directly to the charity.
Centre director Scott Wells said he is thrilled to welcome visitors and that the event reflects their commitment to creating memorable experiences for all visitors.
Lizz Fell, from Oak Tree Animals’ Charity, added: “This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the bond between pets and their owners while raising vital funds and awareness for animal welfare.”
The free event will take place this Saturday and Sunday between 12-4 pm. There will be nominal fees for specific activities.
