TEENAGER Chloe Dudgeon spent her Friday night dressed to the nines at her school prom and the very next day . . . she shaved her long locks off for charity.

The Lockerbie lass, 17, enjoyed her last night with a luscious mane to the full, splurging on a fancy up do to compliment her floor length gown.

But the very next day sheared her head with the help of barber Gary Lewis, and in the process raised in excess of £450 for Cancer Research UK.

In addition, her hair has been sent to The Little Princess Trust, where it will be transformed into a wig for a sick child.

She said: “So many people around me have or are affected by cancer and it’s dev- astating.

“I’ve seen it tear apart people’s lives and wanted to do as much as I could to sup- port them for the better.”

She added: “I’ve been raising money for various charities such as the National Autistic Society and PDSA since I was a wee girl. It’s made me who I am.

“My next charity stunt is in October, taking part in the SAMH stomp at Murray Field stadium.”
