STUDENT satisfaction is at an all time high at Dumfries and Galloway College (DGC) according to a recent survey.
In the latest Student Satisfaction Survey, run by the Scottish Funding Council, the college received high praise, with 96.9 per cent of Further Education students feeling satisfied and 94.1 per cent of Higher Education alumni content with their educational experience.
That was an increase on last year’s scores.
Alongside this, the college’s own Early Experience Student Survey revealed that learners had again rated it top of the class.
An overall star rating of 4.5 out of 5 was given to the ‘feeling welcome and valued’, ‘learning experience so far’, ‘curriculum staff’, ‘support staff services’ and ‘places and platforms for learning’.
Principal Joanna Campbell said: “Dumfries and Galloway College very much appreciate the feedback from students who took part in the Student Satisfaction and Engagement Survey 2022-23.
“We strive to provide the best possible learning experience for everyone and to make every student feel valued and supported during their time at DGC.”
