The 26-year-old has been in and out of the starting XI since returning to the Dumfries outfit during the close season.
But after a run of five straight starts, Luissint believes he’s coming into top form.
He said: “It was a tough start for me but it can be like that, you never know what can happen in football but the goal is to never give up.
“Even if you don’t start and are on the bench. When you come on, you need to do well. I just kept going and working hard in training. Now I’m back in the team and I want to help the side achieve.”
Tuesday night goalscorers Adam Brooks and Jordan Allan grabbed the headlines but Luissint was brilliant in the middle of the park with many Queens fans picking him as their man of the match.
On the Inverness game, Luissint said: “It was a tough game but I feel when we scored our first goal we come back very quickly.
“It was a rollercoaster of a game but it’s a great win for the team. The target was to get the three points and we did.
“I had a chance in the first half but I was a bit confused when I got the ball because I had Reece Lyon on my right and Brennan Dickenson and Brooks on my left. I took a chance but it just went past the post.”
Luissint knows Saturday’s match against bottom of the league Dumbarton will be tough one.
He added: “Now the focus is on Dumbarton and it’s not going to be an easy game. We have to keep performing the way we have been recently and hopefully we can continue our form at home. We want to climb the table and see where that takes us.”
