THE COUNCIL is considering rolling-out a garden waste service as part of its weekly collections.
It follows the successful introduction of recycling services locally at the start of the year, with food recycling due to start in several towns in the autumn.
To gauge how popular the addition of garden waste recycling would be in the region, people living in Dumfries and Galloway are being invited to fill-out a short online survey giving their views.
Responses will help councillors to decide if the scheme should go-ahead and establish how it could be configured if approved.
