Couples make the marriage leap

SPECIAL dates on the calendar always attract a flurry of weddings at Gretna Green and yesterday was no different.

Four couples chose the border love town to tie the knot on leap day.

Meanwhile, February 29 also proved a popular date across Dumfries and Galloway as a whole, with another 27 weddings taking place regionwide.
