Court imposes takeaway ban

A MAN has been banned by a Sheriff from ordering takeaway meals.

Because Patrick Flannigan, 24, of Cluden Court, Dumfries, had been ordering meals from takeaway shops and on delivery accepting the meal and slamming the door on the driver without paying.
Last Thursday, Flannigan admitted committing the offences on four occasions at the addresses at which he was staying during the month before Christmas.
Sheriff Brian Mohan deferred sentence for three months to allow him to pay each of the premises £10 and imposed the ban as a condition of bail.
