Criffel rescue

A WOMAN was hurt after falling off the summit of Criffel yesterday.

The lady, who was on holiday in the area, suffered a suspected broken ankle in the incident on Thursday.
Police Scotland were called and they contact Moffat Mountain Rescue for assistance in helping the casualty.
Ten rescue team members rushed to the scene.
The woman was helped down off the hill by other walkers and picked up on a forestry track and returned to the car park.
