TWO Dumfries curlers will take to the ice for Scotland today in the hope of reaching the play-off stages of the World Curling Championship.
Skip Sophie Jackson and Fay Henderson alongside teammates Rebecca Morrison, Jen Dodds and Sophie Sinclair have a great chance of both securing Team GB’s place at next year’s Winter Olympics and reaching the play-offs.
The Scots have a record of six wins and four losses heading into the final day of round-robin competition.
That effectively pitches them into a mini league in mid-table with China and Denmark with the three teams all meeting one another on the last day of round-robin action
