Cup exits for Anvils

GRETNA FC 2008 suffered back to back cup exits at Raydale Park in the last week.

On Saturday they were beaten 3-1 in the 5th Round of the South Challenge Cup by Hill of Beath Hawthorn. Iain Anderson got the goal for the home side.

And on Wednesday night they made an early exit from the Lowland League Cup after Stirling University ran out 3-2 winners. Liam Short and Anderson, from the penalty spot, got the Gretna goals.
